Coaching Through Connection
I'm Grace DiLorenzo, founder of Move With Grace! I'm a paraprofessional, camp counselor, adaptive surf coach, and lifelong advocate for kids and young adults with disabilities and the families who know there has to be a better way.
I've built my work around showing up fully for the people I support, whether that's on the sand teaching a child to catch their first wave, in a classroom as a paraprofessional, or guiding incoming students as intern of New Student Engagement at Point Loma Nazarene University. Across every role, the throughline has been the same: meet people where they are, and help them find their footing.
What does it look like to coach with patience instead of pressure? What happens when we build spaces—in the water, in the classroom, on campus—where kids with disabilities are given room to try, fail, and try again? What becomes possible when support isn't just supervision, but genuine belief in someone's ability to grow?
Those questions shape the way I work, and now, the business I'm building: one rooted in the belief that every kid deserves someone in their corner who sees their potential first.
